For a lot of my childhood, my father told me bedtime stories he came up with about a pirate king named Captain Scallywag. There were countless stories, and these stories are what got me interested in storytelling, and subsequently, inspired me to pursue a career in art. I wanted to honor my father and his stories by making my own, and animating it.
